We currently have an exciting opportunity to volunteer within our Fundraising team at our Adelaide CBD office on a regular basis.

About the role

The Administration and Customer Service Support Volunteer plays a vital role in supporting the fundraising department with confidential telephone, data entry and professional administrative duties, which include:

  • Outbound telephone calls to supporters (no telemarketing) i.e. thank you calls to supporters who have recently donated or left a gift in their will.
  • Handwritten correspondence to supporters i.e. birthday or thank you cards.
  • Data entry and updating of relevant records on computer software systems.
  • Printing, scanning, posting, and filing of various documentation.

About you

  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate positively and effectively.
  • Good level of computer literacy with accurate typing and data entry skills.
  • Sound verbal and written (including handwritten) communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite would be preferred.
  • High level attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Relevant Police Clearances (costs covered by Guide Dogs SA/NT) will be required upon appointment.
